POSITION: DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled
SALARY RANGE: $63,360 – 80,868 plus benefit package

JOB SUMMARY:

The Development Manager supervises employees, architects, contractors and subcontractors to assure the safe, cost-effective and timely renovation of the Housing Authority's facilities. Major emphasis is on supervising staff and supporting consultants on the agency's Capital Fund and Development programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: 

Four-year degree from an accredited college in Business Management. Formal education in construction management preferred, or any combination of education and experience that evidences the ability to perform the duties of the position. A master's degree in Architecture, Community Development, or Urban Planning may substitute for two years' practical experience.

2. Experience:

  • A minimum of two years as a supervisor or project manager is essential.
  • Five years of development and construction management experience at the level of a Development Oversight Manager.
  • Proficient in computer and information technology with at least three years of project management skills in Excel and other data resources required in the field of construction and development management.

3. Required certifications and licenses:

  • Valid Washington State Motor Vehicle Operator's License and an acceptable driving record according to BHA standards.
