Oakland Block Building
The Oakland Block Building was preserved in an historic manner and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Seismically reinforced to meet Zone III standards, the facility is structurally sound in all of its components and all building systems are up to current code. More than a dozen enlarged historic photographs of the building in its original form decorate the walls in the common area. In recognition of the hotel's past, each of the 20 apartments/suites are named for a mayor who served in the area during the period 1890 - 1910.
