Bellingham/Whatcom County Public Housing Lease

 

The Bellingham/Whatcom County Housing Authorities (BWCHA) are proposing revisions to the Public Housing Lease with an anticipated implementation date of October 1, 2025.  At this time, we are seeking the input of BWCHA residents, community partners and interested community members to provide feedback on the proposed revisions and propose additional revisions before they are reviewed and approved by the BWCHA Board of Commissioners.  The Lease may be viewed on BWCHA’s website: www.bellinghamhousing.org/resources or by request. The new Lease agreement can also be downloaded by clicking the following link Rental Agreement eff. 10/1/2025

 

The public comment period will begin August 17, 2025, and end on September 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

The Bellingham/Whatcom County Housing Authorities (BWCHA) are proposing revisions to their
FY 2026 Utility Allowance and Public Housing Flat Rent schedules with an anticipated
implementation date of January 1st, 2026.

At this time, we are seeking the input of BWCHA residents, community partners and interested
community members to provide feedback on the proposed revisions before they are reviewed
